What is Kaal-Sarpa Dosha ?
There is no mention of Kala-Sarpa Yoga in the ancient texts. Later some astrologer experienced the ill effect of Rahu and Ketu position and named it as Kaal-Sarpa Yoga. Earlier the position was used for mundane astrology and lately the same was applied to Individuals birth chart and also bad effects were experienced and gradually this combination of Rahu and ketu in a particualar placement viz a viz athe other planets in the chart was getting applied in the form of Kaal-Sarpa yoga. So, when all the planets are between Rahu and Ketu, its considered to be an existence fo Kaal- Sarpa Yoga in the Birth Chart of an Individual. What is more important in the formaton of kaal - sarpa happens When all the seven planets are facing Rahu or say has to be gobbled by Rahu only. If Ketu is faced by them there is no Kaal-Sarpa yoga exists at all.
